Product Reviews for Ibanez SR506 6-String Electric Bass Feature: The elixir strings are pure quality. The neck and the blend of woods on the back are beautiful along with the smoke grey hardwear Quality: The frets on the edges are kind of rough compared to the SR 3006 but its not noticable after you have owned it for a while unless you have both. I use it every Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday at church and I have had no problems. You have to be careful with the wood from getting scars. It stays in tune quite well and it is easy to polish up. Sound: The sound of this bass is awsome it gives you every thing you want and need to be a working bass player. From Jazz to funk. Overall: Overall this bass is awsome and I am so glad I maid the step to six. Now every time I pick up a four it fells like it is missing something but at the same time it seems so easy.
