Product Reviews for Hartke 5500 Bass Amplifier Head (500 Watts) Feature: It has all I require. Set the EQ, hook up my chorus pedal, and I'm ready to go. Quality: It looks good and seems to be well built. Hopefully it won't crap put like my Ampeg did. Value: Like I said above, the best amp I've played through. I really like Hartke gear. Excellent value. Can't beat the price. Desirability: I wish they had this amp years ago. Would have saved me a lot of grief. I think I will be using nothing but Hartke equipment from now on. Sound: To me, it is one of the best amps I've ever played though. Plently of volume and excellent tone, especially through my 2x15 cabinet. Overall: Unless this amp dies a horrible death, or some jackass manages to steal it (not a wise decision on their part, trust me,) I don't see myself replace this.
