Quality: Nothing about this mandolin appears to be made cheap. The hardware appears to be tough. Value: I bought this used. It was used only a couple of times and hung up. Which is sometime the best way to purchase for kids that may not continue interest. I paid $100 for the mandolin, case and 2 books. I had been looking at this model for some time and was able to find it used. Sound: Sounds as good or better than some of the more expensive models. Support: Not yet.
