Product Reviews for Elixir 11100 Medium Acoustic Guitar Strings with Polyweb¬ Sound: If you spent over $1000 dollars on a Martin guitar, these strings will bring the sound of your guitar down somewhat of a notch. I really wanted these strings to sound good, especially after all I read on the internet, but the Martin 4200 Phosphor Bronze that came on my D-16RGT are noticably (not a whole lot) better. I don't have corrosive fingers so these strings aren't a must. I'll try SP+ Extended Life next time. Elixer's sound good though on my low end 12 string.
