Product Reviews for Behringer DI100 Active Direct Box Feature: The battery hatch is a pain in the A@@. You have to find the trick of feeding the wire in along the side as you insert the battery to make it fit without forcing it. Another design flaw is that the 4 toggle switches are on the sides. It would have been much nicer to have them on top. Also, a major drawback is that there is no unbalanced 1/4" out. I'm sure a lot of people have ordered this unit without realizing that they need an XLR input to pipe it into. Quality: Seems like it can take a little bashing but not much. I would use any behringerproduct for a hammer or doorstop (although thats what a lot of people would probably say is all they are good for LOL) Value: Behringer stuff is high value Sound: Does what it is supposed to just fine.
