Value: 10 years from now, it will still be a studio standard! Desirability: What am I saying!!! I GOT IT!!! I LOVE IT!! YOU NEED IT!!! GO GET IT!!! Sound: A pure BEAST!!! The machine set new standards for beat creations, and I can come up with a beat quicker than you can say orgasm! SCREW AN MPC4000, it still have a lot of bugs, and they (Akai) may not even fix them before they try to come out with another machine. The MPC2000xl is extremely flexible, and I have it hooked up to my computer in my studio. Sometimes I slave the computer to it, and vice-versa, and either way the 2000xl has NO FLAWS!!!Worth every penny, if you can't afford the 4000 THIS IS A BEAST!!!
